Nokia N82
The rightful successor of the highly acclaimed N73 makes its way in the mobile phone to the sounds of fanfare plays. Mobile phones provide almost the same number of features such as N95, but at a much lower price. Nokia N82 cannot be tagged as a cameraphone or a business phone, but may instead be regarded as an all-in-one device. Moreover, every piece of technology that is part of the highest quality and provides good functionality for users. The 5 Megapixel cameras, together with HSDPA and Wi-Fi technology, built-in GPS, as well as the low price mark the new Nokia N82 device as one of the few mobile phones that can perform excellent where all functions are concerned.

Announced in November 2007, Nokia N82 was launched on the market in the same month. The phone is one of the best deals for what it has to offer, because it can be purchased for only 500 bucks, free from the contract.
Nokia N82 is anything but beautiful. Sure, the phone looks okay, but it does not come with any "wow" factor and such. Still, it makes a good impression on those who are looking for a well-balanced and compact unit. Thanks to the 5 megapixel camera on its back, the N82 is in no way slim, measuring around 17mm. Still, surprising for their size (112 x 50.2mm) phone is relatively easy (114 grams, including battery). The generous screen has no protection and can easily be scratched. Above the screen there is a small light sensor, the secondary video talks behind closed doors and in small speakers. The keypad layout is similar to N81 pattern, but the keys are very different. If you are a heavy texts, when the phone is definitely not for you. There is only one other Nokia handset, which had almost the same keys, and it is the old N91.
Feedback received by Nokia in the case of small keys of N91 slider was not positive at all, but still, they are like to continue with them. The fact is that more and more cell phones (in particular, Sony Ericsson) adopted the thin keys pattern, which is bad for subtitles. The large D-pad is too thin (again) and seems a bit thin, particularly after extensive use. The 2 most important keys to steer the talks, accept (green) and reject (red), has been placed at the edge of both sides of the handset, exactly like on the N81.

Again, if you’re a right-hander, you have no problem to use Accept (green) key, but you have difficulty with Reject (red) button. The right side of the phone is the most crowded, so you can see from the photos.
The quality of the screen is already common to all Nokia Nseries devices - perfect. Support for 16 million colors and 240×320 pixels, TFT screen measures 2.4 inches and is fully visible in strong light.
Unfortunately, there is no protection against scratches on the screen, and no matter how hard you try, the display will be damaged in time. In any case, the quality of the picture shown is excellent, but it does not rise to the level of performance offered by the Nokia N95 slider.
The 5 Megapixel camera built in this Nseries device appears to be the best on the market. Equipped with Carl Zeiss lens, auto-focus and the best Xenon flash available, the camera module is far more than most other cameraphones.
Nokia N82 does not impress with its design, but it is one of the most reliable and versatile mobile phones on the market. It has all the latest technology, lots of advanced features, which acts as the highest. For those seeking a better N95, I recommend trying the N82, because it exceeds its predecessor in most areas.
The fact that the Nokia N82 features the best camera on the market will not go unnoticed. But if so, will it be the Finnish manufacturer’s fault for not advertising one of his best products. HSDPA, 2.4”display, good battery, good music sound, Wi-Fi are just some of the strengths of this phone. What can be better than to have an improved N95 at a lower price?
I guess a little more work on its design would have attracted more users, which makes people forget the N95 or N73. A more resistant compound should have been used in the manufacture, which the phone has been designed to be used frequently to their full extent. Ergonomics is not a word that would define the N82, especially in the type of keyboard that Nokia is included.
